Cooperation for enhancing the Climate of Trust and Security towards building a digital-sustainable Future


November 29-30 and December 01, 2022, at the Four Seasons Hotel Gammarth in Tunis, Republic of Tunisia.

within the context of its endeavors to promote joint Arab action and inter-regional and global cooperation in the field of safety and security of technological transformations at the strategic, technical, and organizational levels, has launched an initiative to organize the “Regional digital trust Days” under the slogan: « Cooperation for enhancing the Climate of Trust and Security towards building a digital-sustainable Future » to be held on November 29-30 and December 01, 2022, at the Four Seasons Hotel Gammarth in Tunis – Republic of Tunisia.

The three days of AICTO “Regional digital trust Days” will cover the following activities:


Day 1: The 2nd edition of the “Arab High-Level Forum on Cybersecurity” and the launching of the Arab Strategy for Cybersecurity:

This year’s edition of the forum aims to move a step further in unifying efforts in the Arab region for safer and more effective cyberspace to reach the highest level of development in the era of the tremendous changes and unprecedented growth that the digital sector is going through.

At this occasion, the “Arab Cyber Security Strategy” will be launched as a step ahead to concretize the orientations of the “Strategic Arab vision for cybersecurity” launched by AICTO in 2021, and to act as a roadmap or blueprint to lead the way of Arab countries in setting up and developing their national cybersecurity strategies taking into account the regional and global dimensions.


Day 2: The 3rd edition of the Inter-regional Forum on Digital Trust and Standardization:

Following the success of the two previous editions, “the Interregional Digital Trust Forum” – 2022 will continue to gather key actors in the field of Digital trust and e-certification as well as standardization from the Arab and African regions and from the rest of the world with the aim to further shed light on the key role played by national digital certification bodies in building “Trustworthy and resilient digital societies and economies”, of course, within an appropriate ecosystem and good synergy with other stakeholders. This edition will focus on the ways to enhance mutual recognition and interoperability between Arab countries and other countries in digital trust services, mainly digital signature.


Day 3: Workshops and WGs meetings: This day will be devoted to Workshops and AAECA-Net (AICTO project/Regional digital trust network) WGs meetings.
